Whalley Golf Club Course Details
Whalley Golf Club can claim to be one of the finest nine hole courses in the country. It is a parkland course with beautifully matured trees, challenging holes and wonderful views of the Ribble Valley.

Alterations have been made over many years adding to the interest and difficulties for today's golfer, including water hazards, strategically placed bunkers and tree-lined fairways.

The course map and score card can be seen below, with details of yardage, stroke index and par.

Additionally, at the bottom of the page there is a break down of each hole. By clicking on a hole you can see more detailed information as well as tips for playing the hole.

The First & The Tenth

A challenging opening hole with a drive between two large trees, the hole is a slight dog-leg right that requires accuracy off the tee. Driving on to the left side of the fairway Click for More Info >>

The Second & The Eleventh

An uphill par 5 that plays much longer than its 485 yards. A good tee shot will make the green reachable in two, but the sensible golfer would opt for a lay up shot. The large tr Click for More Info >>

The Third & The Twelth

A downhill par 3 that is much trickier second time round. The hole looks simple from the tee but often catches you out. Everything slopes left to right and the slightest in-accura Click for More Info >>

The Fourth & The Thirteenth

A mid-length par 4, at 355 yards, but again it plays further due to the uphill slope. A fairway bunker to the right has caught out many a player, and trees either side mean the dr Click for More Info >>

The Fifth & The Fourteenth

Par 5 downhill that still plays long despite the aid of the slope. Trees left and right can ruin things for any wayward tee shots, and landing in the rough will often remove the p Click for More Info >>

The Sixth & The Fifteenth

This par 4 runs along side the road, which adds to the pressure off the tee, as anything too far right will be out of bounds. Two pot bunkers down the right catch any drives that Click for More Info >>

The Seventh & The Sixteenth

A short par 4, with numerous trees and a couple of fairway bunkers. Anything left and you'll be in a dense patch of trees, but stray too far right and you could be on the road. I Click for More Info >>
