Whalley Golf Club was founded back in 1912 and remains on the same site today. The clubhouse itself dates back to 1751 - originally an old barn at the top of the course, it was converted and extended in 1972 when a highway scheme alongside the course made it necessary to replace the original clubhouse.

Careful renovation allowed some of the original beams and brickwork to remain as features.
From the large balcony almost the entire course can be viewed, along with the surrounding Ribble Valley.

Whalley Golf Club can claim to be one of the finest nine hole courses in the country. It is a nine hole parkland course with beautifully matured trees and wonderful views of the Ribble Valley.
